Yoni and lingam, punani and cocky, oyster catchers and beef bugles - whatever you want to call them, we all (or at least most of us) have one! In fact, they are the gateway to the propagation of our (and many other) species. Yet they are also considered "Private Parts," and thus many of us have even grown ashamed of them, for various reasons.
This show is a celebration of those private parts, thrusting them into the admiring gaze of the public eye. Some pieces contain subtle references to those parts, while others are more blatant, often tongue-in-cheek depictions, yet all 40+ artists share in the aim of creating a positive affirmation for those things we love.
